Losing weight on Maintenance dose, but food noise/sugar drops are back?

I reached goal weight of 125 on 10 mg. Been on that dose for 3.5 months. When I reached 125 (I'm 57yo, 5'1" started at 177 and started zepbound 10/2025) I stalled a week or 2 - circled around 125-129. I had side effects my whole journey. Nausea the first 3-4 days after shot. Constipation. Anhedonia I think - definitely fatigue. admit, that I do not work out. My fatigue plus an active job in a hospital kept me pushing off an exercise routine (I was never into workouts)

Flash forward a month , and my symptoms are lessening. My hunger is not as strong the first 2-3 days after shot but nausea is down. But Even in those days, I am getting these "sugar drops" where if I haven't eaten, or only eaten carbs, I get very shaky. It's so uncomfortable. But I still have food aversion. So I have been losing weight - I'm at 120 now. I'm sure I'll go up a pound by Thursday (shot day) but I'm confused by this - should I go down in mg? If I do will these shaky episodes increase - I had them everyday, every time I tried to eat normal amount of calories before Zepbound. thus weight gain. It was the first thing to disappear when I started and I was so happy. I'm terrified of this being a way of life for me.

I have started to consciously try to increase calories. I liked being able to not think about food, but looks like somethings gotta change as I know I'm not too thin by any means , but want to just get rid of these shakes - and would rather stay at 120 with no sugar drops than lose anymore.

I have a doctors appt in Sept. so of course will talk with them, but I'm curious if anyone has gone through this or any knowledge on why this happens? I have posted before about these episodes and have gotten great advice/knowledge - but that was when I was actively losing. I went up in dose and it went away.

Photic- Eyes open or closed?

Why do some techs have patients open their eyes for photic and some have them keep eyes shut the whole time? My facility starts the EEG with eyes opened for about 1 minute , closed for the rest of the test, through Photic and HV. If they did not fall asleep, we will have them open eyes the last 30 secs or so.

If your facility keeps eyes opened or partially open during photic, what is the benefit? thanks for responses - I've heard this difference so many times. I'm a seasoned tech but have worked at the same large hospital my entire career, which is great but means I have always done tests the same one way I was taught so never questioned it really.

Expectations on maintenance ? I feel like I need to go up a dose....or is this normal?

I've only been in maintenance for 3 weeks really. I'm on 10 mg which is the same dose I met goal on - so I've been on 10mg for 4 months. I've gone from 126 to 129 in the 3 weeks since I met goal. I haven't really changed anything at all. But I do feel almost like the inflammation is back or is it water? My work scrub pants are tighter than usual - I feel heavy again even though I rationally know 3 lbs is nothing. and I don't know if this is my mind playing tricks on me - but I have been dealing with nausea since the beginning. It only happens 2-3 days after shot and have gotten used to it but now any side effects are minimum so it's almost like my brain thinks it's not working so I feel my hunger much stronger than ever and get these sugar swings. Does that make sense? should I go up in dose ? or is this my body just adjusting to maintenance. I did expect to go up and down within 5 lbs but didn't expect to feel it so much. My goal weight is actually 8 lbs less than my goal I got to, but my body kind of paused at 126 and I was happy with how I felt and looked so I " went into maintenance" . So confused. (btw - very Type B person, tracking doesn't work well with me - causes all sorts of issues,)

what am I in for ?....first maintenance dose this week and still unsure

July 4th weekend here in the US. I just hit goal weight (52 pounds lost!) last week and want to start maintenance but I have been suffering pretty bad nausea 3-4 days after shot day the whole journey. I'm at 10 mg. For my first maintenance do I just push it back a day (instead of Thursday, do it Friday?) and see how it works? I'm scared I will be a little sicker on the extended shot day since I won't have as much drug in my system by waiting , if that makes sense? I could go down in dose. I have some 7.5 mg left over from when I titrated up and could ask my doctor to change from script from 10 to 7.5mg?

I also always got hypoglycemia if I did not eat every 3-4 hours before I started Zepbound (it's what prevented me from losing weight before) and when I get near shot day , I can feel that creeping back in. so I'm a bit nervous changing anything, as I have gotten used to the nausea (or used to being "sick" for 3 days) which is not ideal but doable. I have been on a plateau at my goal weight +1-2 lbs. Not really losing much anymore.

I'm not a great person with change , so possibly over worrying for nothing but wish I had at least a concrete plan. Id love to stop the nausea and be able to enjoy my weekends and start more vigorous exercise plan , so maybe going down in dose would be a better answer. and if the hypoglycemia shaking/dizzy spells return , I can hope fully go back up ? any suggestions?

NSV I never saw coming.....

I was at work and had to squeeze past some machines and patient's bed. The family member who was sitting across the room , said :

" Lucky you're so skinny or you'd never get around this room, huh? "

I literally stopped in my tracks, and secretly did a little dance. Best NSV yet. Lost 50 lbs but I'm a home body + people now-a-days don't usually comment on other's weight , so I have not had a lot of comments on my success. Started Zepbound 10/25 , hit my goal weight this week!
