Like I understand but without kazuki telling everyone shoya was a bully there was nothing to gain. Was it out of fear people would figure out he was a part of bullying too? Was it out of sense of trying his best to subconsciously remove himself of any guilt?
Let’s say the universe is a canvas, the elements the paint. Now a person would clearly ask the question, “who created the canvas and the paint,” their conclusion, there must be a painter. Now if you go through reality through a scientific lens, you reach what I like to call a see-through wall. Where science can define the canvas and paint but not why they exist. Now whatever a person says directed at the wall, echos into a form of what they want to see past that wall. This is the “just is”, a reflection of a conscious minds desire for truth.
Because we can’t see past this wall it seems choosing the canvas as the ultimate "just is" (Materialism) or the painter as the ultimate "just is" (Theism) is just an arbitrary stopping point based on psychological preference.
Is there a formal name for this limit. How do philosophers address the idea that our ultimate conclusions stem from projections of our own desires ?
