Since reading 12 months I started listening to Dresden at work, and man do I hate McCoy I’m at the blackstaff conversation and it’s enraging. To lie right to Harry’s face while telling him about his mother is disgusting. completely invalidates everything he’s argued with Harry about since changes.
So one of the big things Dresden constantly points out is that if a wizard wants to kill being, they typically make it look like accidents. When Harry summoned that demon in fool moon, at the end of the conversation, he claims Malcolm Dresden and was murdered by magic. Then several books later we find out Murphy’s father allegedly killed himself during his tenure as a black cat. What if they were both murdered by a wizard? Malcolm because he married Maggie and Murphy’s Dad because he stumbled into the wrong wizard schemes. I know not everyone needs to have been killed by the supernatural but it isn’t completely impossible.
After twelve months teased a trip to the never never side of the island I got to thinking, what’s Alfred like in the spirit world, is he like bob a floating nebula or does he have a physical body? Ever since cold days I’ve personally worked under the theory the other side of demonreach is going to a huge paradigm shift for Dresden, much like the first trip to his godmother’s garden. Would love any thoughts, theories or lore information.
I was thinking the other day it’s a strange we’ve only meant one archangel, in small favor mab gives us names and descriptions and ever since then we’ve only meet one of the three, I figured we’d at least have gotten a quick hello from them by now. Harry’s already pretty dead set against nicodemus and the walkers, you’d figure the people in charge would have take some interest in the chosen guardian of the swords
After the event of battleground, I’m starting to wonder if sir John Marcone has finally hit limit in terms of status and power. Obviously he didn’t stop at a title but I don’t know where he goes from here. he’s got the fallen angel of magic and practically unlimited connections, maybe this is his plateau what’s left while remaining mortal. I did read a theory once he’s going overthrow Nicodemus but personally I don’t love that for ether characters storyline.
It occurred to me that as an adult Harry hasn’t been wholly himself since he was 27. He picks up the coin and lash dies after years, about a year later I think he’s winter knight. That’s two really bad tenants so to speak. No wonder mister owned the apartment he’s way more exclusive
