I have been charging my leaf with a tethered type 2 wall charger and a type 2 to type 1 adapter.
Hypothetically of course, if the plug got broken, could I just rewire a type 1 plug onto the cable?
Looking at the adapter, PP goes nowhere so would just be a simple wire up for the other 4 pins.
Only question is whether the charger is looking for something on the PP wire?
Yellow srs plug on a seatbelt got broken including the pins. Don't ask... it's the plug on the loom that is broken.
Can these be replaced?
Can i just get a plug off a wreck and solder in?
Or can you get housings and replacement pins?
Can they do this and reduce the price for me to take care of it?
It currently has a wof, but runs out in a couple of months.
If it fails and needs repairs, I would cover them (that's no concern to me as I would do myself) but what if there was a major issue that couldn't be fixed like previously unnoticed damage etc?
