Come on TradeStation, do better.

I got a freeriding violation this week in my cash account. I've been trading for a year and this is my first slip-up of this sort. I literally spent 1 dollar and change over my settled funds. I get it, rules are rules.

It got me thinking though. Would it have let me buy 2x or 10x or 100x my account size? Or did it only allow my buy order because it was within the range of my balance, but just, it wasn't settled cash?

I'll be primarily trading in my margin account, come June 4th so it's not a huge deal for me either way, but curiosity has got me wondering if you can use your 1 freeride violation to cheat the system in that way (with any error being catastrophic of course)
