I have completed all the steps for obtaining citizenship through descent, as my paternal grandmother was born in Galway in 1923. Documents were mailed via US Post on July 6; I received confirmation of receipt from the FBR office on July 27.

When I applied online and paid with a credit card, I did not receive a receipt of payment from the automated, online system. Instead of a receipt, I included the statement from the credit card I used to pay it. Do you think this will be ok? Did you have trouble getting a receipt? Thank you.

I am applying for inclusion on the FBR based upon my paternal grandmother. I received my e-mail conformation of documents at the end of June. However, after looking over the documents, after having received the email, I realized that I neglected to send my Dad’s US passport. Should I wait for them to request it? Or should I go ahead and send it? Thanks for your advice.
