It's showing me projects that don't exist, have already ended, or projects that say will be ending in x amount of time but have still already ended. It doesn't remove projects I've dismissed so I just have this infinitely stacked list of dismissed projects and I have to continuously scroll to find new projects. Is the engine just totally broken or am I not doing something right?

I know the sorting feature exists, but it only temporarily alleviates the problem if I sort by "new" or "latest activity."
