Got a show coming up in a couple months, and up until now we've just run visuals with Resolume which is all nice and easy. I've been looking into using TouchDesigner for more complex effects and routing it into Resolume, but wanted to ask those who have tried it whether the setup feels stable and secure?

The last thing I want is to introduce more points of failure and have things freeze up or get weird during a set, and hypothetically I know it should be stable, but with so many factors and connections I'm hesitant to commit

Not sure if anyone has done this a good bit and can either confirm it's stability, or has tips on things I should do to ensure smooth performance and minimal hiccups?
