Third time's the charm, swapped the bridge pickup from a DiMarzio D Sonic to a Seymour Duncan Jupiter Rails, and what a difference. Much better cleans, thick but articulated, much better chugs and leads all around, very happy with this swap, will probably leave it like this. Very evenly matches the Hot Rails Tele in neck, got the push pull as a series-parallel for the neck and it gives great cleans/thinner tones, middle position plus parallel neck is very full and articulate.

All in all very happy, and the cherry on top is they look killer in all black bobbins and rails.

New-ish pickups day. Swapped the neck pickup on my Salen Plini yet again. Used to have a DiMarzio Area T which sounds amazing, but was very mismatched with the D Sonic in the bridge in terms of output. Went with a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails Tele on the neck, and now it sings, much better sustain, very mid heavy but still clear enough for cleans, wired it with a series-parallel push pull for the neck for added clarity. Rotated the D Sonic to have the bar towards the neck too.

Might not be very Tele-ish, but I like it alot better this way
