What If The Deadly Six Were TAILS' Villains?
Tails’ deepest scar is being relentlessly bullied and treated like a freak as a child because of his twin tails. The Deadly Six are already known for mindless cruelty, but here, that cruelty gets hyper-targeted. Zavok, Zazz, and Zeena would target his self-doubt, calling him a "freak" and a "worthless sidekick." But their bullying serves a tactical purpose: they want to utterly demoralize him, breaking his spirit so he will willingly reprogram Eggman’s technology for them.
Tails relies heavily on machines, mechs, and gadgets. Think about it: tech is his shield. It’s his way of hiding from the world so he doesn't have to rely on his physical mutation. But the Zeti control electromagnetism. They effortlessly hack and turn Tails' own inventions against him, systematically destroying his mechanical safety blanket.
For the first time, Tails is stripped bare. No mechs. No gadgets. Just him.
When Tails finally stands up to oppose them, Zavok looks down at him with cold, warrior-like indifference. He delivers the ultimate insult:
"You have clever parlor tricks, But you are just a shadow. Bring me the true challenge. Bring me Sonic."
This is the exact catalyst Tails needs. He tells Sonic to step back. To defeat the Zeti, Tails is forced to stop viewing his body as a defect. He embraces his mutation and finally uses his raw aerial agility and wind vortices, Tails bypasses Zavok’s brute strength and brings the giant Zeti leader to his knees. Zavok is forced to respect him, Sonic realizes his little brother is officially his equal now.
