Which one is better

The first image with ripples is the after/finished painting. The second image with spatter is the before. Now I’m wondering if the before piece was better… in some sense it seems cleaner, more delicate. But felt incomplete to me without any movement or story, so I added the ripples. Now I am confused. The after painting is complete, while the before painting is pretty.

Another 10 minutes piece

Lately I’ve been drawn towards small, minimalist paintings… because they are so convenient and keeps me going when I’m too overwhelmed to start a big piece. I will do one detailed painting soon but till then… these are keeping me happy!

Probably my favourite work of mine

Sharing this here… it’s not my favourite technically. I know a more experienced artist can probably do wonders with the same concept. But the painting is very close to my heart… I was taking a big leap into the unknown in my personal life and this represented it. I didn’t share it anywhere for a long time but I feel I might finally be coming out of that phase. So, sharing it here…

My 6 minutes painting

I was restless as life wasn’t giving me any time to paint. I usually do full paintings that takes hours. But I felt I’d go mad if I didn’t make something so found a gap of an hour and made a bunch of quick studies. This was my favourite of the lot and only took 6ish minutes… This taught me how you don’t always need the perfect time and perfect space to create something nice

Although I’m pretty happy with how this one turned out, any suggestions/feedback are welcome for depth/composition for my next piece
