TIL you can spam casts giga fast with the Charon axe
build:
the main components for the fast casts anywhere on screen are Apollo's legendary and the Giga Cleaver hammer upgrade. since they don't immediately activate, you can spam your cast button three more times per special. This means that even with a magic-heavy build a common rarity Lucid Gain will be enough to keep your magic at a max level
only occurred to me to record it relatively late, but at least you can see it working for even that little bit
note- i have noticed that it is sometimes possible to cause the cast to go off more than four times per special. just spam it as fast as you can the moment your special pops
my build (the parts that matter):
-Poseidon's cast and Omega cast: damage when placed, giga damage when popped with the special. if you could get demeter into this, instead of my Aphrodite or Hera, try to aim for the climate boon to boost damage from inside the cast even further
-Apollo's special, gain, prominence flare and legendary. the special matters quite a lot, if you want to be able to run around freely inside it's area, plus it opens up the legendary. the gain is optimal since you always pop it. you can't see it in the recording, but i also have a heroic super nova, which is why the casts are so large. this matters more than the hammer, almost, because otherwise you'll have to get too up close and personal to be safe
-Giga Cleaver (two specials, + Apollo's double)

Poseidon's cast isn't too necessary. some casts have the potential to leave a damage over time field after you use them, like Heph's and Ares's. Ares allows for a follower cast with Demeter, so the perfect version of this, I'd imagine, uses Dem on attack, Ares on the cast, + their boost duos, instead of my Hera and Aphrodite
Omega casts don't pop fine line and Poseidon's wave. i have these boons in the build above and they barely do anything. they're relatively up on my damage meter, but only because the boon is leveled into quite a lot
