When did Steiner's lifestyle change from indoors-oriented to outdoors?

I remember he said he used to never do outdoor activities, but then he changed. He got into driving motorbikes, travelling, etc.

Did he start all of this stuff after he got back to 20/20, or before?

He gives me a lot of inspiration that I can, too, change up my lifestyle.

Where did the 3-Hour Rule Come From?

The heavily promoted 3-Hour Distance Vision rule seems to not be universal.

Just wondering if this is still the thing promoted, and if not, what is the new rule?

What does Steiner mean when he says "build outdoor hobbies" as the key to vision improvement?

Let me give you an example.

For about 6 months, I sailed once a week (2 hours per week) in addition to 3 hours daily walking. Didn't improve an inch. The sailing was a hobby, but clearly not enough of one?

Same with Gemilymez. She ended up quitting because her walks wasn't improving. Same with the YouTuber "Weeda".

How are some people improving and not?

I know my close up habits are exceptional as well.

I only really count vision improvement if you've improved at least 2 diopters, because honestly I contacted a guy from Steiner's podcast who ended up literally where I am (no improvement) despite improving initially (probably ciliary release)

How many have actually reached the finish line?

What does it REALLY take to get there? The sailing I used to do, for example, was clearly not enough.

This guy: https://endmyopia.org/johnny-5-50-to-no-glasses-2020-in-two-years/

He spent all days outdoors. And got back from -5.50 to 20/20.

Gemilymez spent 3-4 hours walking. And got plateaud. Same with me. Clearly the 3-4 hour rule isn't universal.

So how long/what outdoor habits does it really take?

Curious to hear your thoughts if you've actually improved significantly.

Thanks a lot guys.
