I'm torn between two color combinations
Cast Iron Brown (Unicorn) exterior with a black interior
Galaxy Maroon Pearl exterior with a brown interior
I know the Cast Iron Brown isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I absolutely love it. I've owned a brown vehicle before, and I constantly received compliments on it. There's just something about that rich, earthy color that really appeals to me.
On the other hand, I also really love the brown interior. My only hesitation is wondering if it's one of those things that feels exciting because it's different and new, and whether that novelty might wear off over time.
For some context, I currently have a 2022 model with a black interior. When I bought it, I specifically searched for that combination and even traveled out of state to find the exact exterior color, interior color, and drivetrain I wanted. So black interiors have always been my preference.
Now I'm questioning whether I truly prefer the brown interior, or if I'm simply drawn to it because it's something I haven't had before. I know I'll spend far more time looking at the interior than the exterior while driving, but at the same time, I also want to love the vehicle every time I walk up to it.
If you were making this decision, which combination would you choose, and more importantly, why?

It’s time for me to upgrade from my 2022 Palisade Calligraphy to a 2026, and I’m currently obsessed with the Earthy Brass Matte exterior with the brown interior.
I’d love to hear from anyone who owns a matte-finish Hyundai (especially the Earthy Brass Matte). I’m looking for honest feedback the good, the bad, and everything in between.
A few questions I have:
• How difficult is the upkeep compared to regular paint?
• Is not being able to go through an automatic car wash as inconvenient as it sounds?
• How do you keep everyday road grime, bugs, and dirt off the paint? How often do you hand wash it?
• Have you had any issues with staining, water spots, or scratches?
• Did you add a ceramic coating, PPF, or both? If so, was it worth the investment?
• Is there anything you wish you had known before buying a matte-finish vehicle?
I’m absolutely in love with the color, but I want to make sure I’m going into it with realistic expectations before I pull the trigger.
