I have been stable on my glp-1 for over two years but my new doctor just told me we need to stop my prescription

I really was not expecting him to drop that on me. I have been maintaining and feeling great for over two years now. I have another appointment with him next month and I was just totally caught off guard. Basically, my insurance changed so I had to switch clinics, and this new guy immediately tells me we need to look at stopping the meds entirely. I know what the studies say and what happens when people quit. It is just super frustrating because now I have to actually fight for my prescription, which is something I never had to do with my last doctor.

Do you ever wonder if the side effects, risks and money spent on compounds are actually worth it?

Between the money, the potential health risks, and the physical side effects, it gets overwhelming. Do you ever feel like the constant stress of funding, verifying, and taking these things outweighs the actual results?

Is it normal for a test cycle to cure anxiety?

im 9 weeks into 300mg of test and my anxiety is literally just gone. i didnt even realize how bad it was before. i used to have crazy fomo and cared way too much about what people thought. now my head is just super clear and i feel normal.

it didnt make me angry or give me some big ego either. it actually humbled me a lot and made me way less arrogant. i even dropped some toxic friends cause i just do not care about the party scene anymore.

anyone else get this exact mental shift? it feels great but its almost weird getting used to having zero anxiety now.

Moving past the initial honeymoon phase on reta. what does year two actually look like?

I started reta a little over a year ago. The first six months were completely effortless. The weight came off fast and I had zero desire to eat. Now that I am getting into my second year, things feel a lot different. I still get full faster than I normally would, but that intense appetite suppression is basically gone. I actually get regular hunger cues again throughout the day. My weight has been sitting at the exact same number for about three months now. For the people who have been running this long term, what does year two and beyond actually look like for you? Do you just stay on a maintenance dose forever or do you have to keep messing with the amount to keep the weight from creeping back up?

I want to compete eventually, but is waiting until 25 to start taking steroids a mistake when 18 year olds are already on cycle?

I am an 18 year old and I have been lifting every day for 2 years. I used to train twice a day for about 6 months. I absolutely love training and get pretty down if I miss a session.

I definitely want to compete in the future and see exactly how far I can push my body to find out what my true genetic limit is naturally versus enhanced. No one is going to stop me from running a cycle eventually because there is no way I am going to spend the rest of my life working a regular job and never take steroids. I know all the precautions and my plan is to wait to start until I am 24 or 25.

The problem is that you look on social media these days and see 18 year olds repping 315 with crazy physiques. It makes me realize this is going to be my competition. By the time I start my first cycle at 25, the other guys my age will already have 6 years of steroid use under their belt. It is just crazy how much younger the bodybuilding community is getting. In almost any sport, the earlier you start, the better your chances are of making it.

Seeing all of this really makes me want to just start taking gear right now since it is so normalized at this age anyway. Just needed to get that rant out there.

Doctor told me to stay away from semaglutide. Has anyone ignored their pcp and got it anyway?

My general doctor, who I only see once a year, told me to completely stay away from it. He basically said it is a drug with way too many unknown long-term consequences for weight loss, but he was so incredibly outspoken against it that it felt weird. I am not really sure why he was pushing back that hard. Has anyone else had their primary care doctor completely try to block you from taking it, but you just went ahead and got it prescribed somewhere else anyway?

Does HGH actually do anything for joint repair or am I just wasting massive amounts of money for slightly better sleep?

I started running hgh a few months ago strictly because my shoulders and knees have been hurting from lifting, but so far the only thing i have actually noticed is that i sleep a little heavier at night. Everyone online acts like it will completely heal all your joints and tendons if you just give it enough time, but my joints still ache exactly the same way they did before i bought the first kit. I know people say you have to run it for six months or a year to see real structural changes, but it just feels like i am throwing a ton of cash out of pocket in the garbage right now. for the guys who have run it long term specifically for injuries, did it ever actually repair your joints or is it just an expensive waste of money if you are not using it for massive muscle growth?

Can you be sued for giving someone the link to an underground research lab?

I gave a coworker the link to the domestic research site where I get my Tirzepatide. He ordered some vials and ended up in the emergency room last weekend with a severe reaction. His wife is now sending me text messages saying she is talking to a lawyer. Am I actually legally exposed here? I just told him what website I use. If a bad batch of gray market compounds puts someone in the hospital, who takes the legal hit? The lab is completely anonymous and untouchable, so does trson who shared the link? I am terrified I am about to get sued because of a five minute conversation we had in the breakroom.

What are the actual health dealbreakers for starting GLP-1s? Besides the thyroid cancer and pancreatitis warnings, who else should skip these? If your heart rate is already high or your stomach is sensitive, it seems like these would just make everything worse. Are there specific conditions that make someone a bad candidate for Reta or Tirz?
