We come to the end of another of the weekly dispatches and it's time to say goodbye. What should I leave you with for the bonus video this week? Lets get a little more out of the box this week. Woodstock took place 57 years ago. Jimi Hendrix headlined the event. Because of the rotten weather and equipment issues he didn't hit the stage until about 8:00AM on Monday morning. He was playing that famous Star Spangled Banner rendition about the time you were having your second cup of coffee. Anyway here's an interesting story about that morning. Jimi had seen a group playing down in Greenwich Village that he thought was very groovy and used his star power to demand that they be put on the Woodstock lineup and play right before him. Because of the massive delays, by Monday morning the organizers just wanted to cancel the rest of the acts, have Jimi to play and everyone could go home. Happy Friday gang. I have decided to get rid of the REALLY RETCHED RE-INSPECTIONS section as it's been ages since any of them showed up. If I do find any in the future I'll add them as a one-off.

We'll do the dispatch in a minute but I wanted to spout off about the GREATEST TESLA LICENSE PLATE OF ALL TIME. Most of you probably know that when you buy any used car the original manufacturer doesn't get any of the money exchanged. It may help the brand indirectly by keeping more of their cars on the road but for the most part they get nothing. Buying a used Tesla ain't helping Musk get any richer. This week I saw someone driving what I assume to be a used or inherited Tesla. I assume it was used or inherited because of the personalized license plate "ELN SUX". Whoever owns this car did a far classier job of making his feelings known than the usual regretful Tesla owners who put on the "I bought this before we knew Musk was crazy" or similar bumper sticker. So here's to you guy with the great license plate!

Looks like this is the last day of school for a lot of the young'uns. I know when we lived in Central Oregon this marked the beginning of the summer tourist season. My guess is that up here it will be different and the traffic patterns won't change too much. We're retired and try to plan our weekday forays into Portland for after 9am heading down and try to be back on this side of the river before 3. So far this usually means not too bad traffic. Happy Friday one and all. It's time for another Dirty Demerit Dispatch. I've been diggin' deep into my past life and working on code this week, inspired by my buddy u/Foo_Bar_Baz_Qux_Quux and all of the incredible abilities of the modern AI engines to crank out code far faster and more bug free than I could back in the day. It's actually kind of cool as the software engineering and coding skills I had when I was working blend pretty well with this stuff. I come up with the ideas and a rough framework and the AI dumps out the code. Then I tweak it to my liking. Pretty cool although I wouldn't be saying this out loud if I was still working in the industry. It's gonna put a lot of people out of work.
