How shitty is too shitty for a first draft?
I really just need some cheerleaders! I'm 55,000 words into the first draft of my first novel (historical fiction), and I'm so bored of writing 'the shitty first draft'. I know it needs to get done, I need the bones before I can make it good. I'm worried about how much effort it's going to take to make it make sense as currently names, timelines, and characters still aren't fully formed.
So feel free to tell me how shitty your first draft was and remind me Im not alone and this is how it gets done.
Thanks!!!
