How would you survive if AI stole your job? API for your brain

So recently I wrote on reddit asking how AI has screwed people up in their workplaces, and got some interesting stories about how people are actually using AI,sorting it's problems etc

It validated some things I was seeing (I asked around other Subreddits...)and basically ended up with the thought;

If AI is going to change or replace parts of people's jobs, why shouldn't the people with the expertise benefit from that transition?

Think of it as an API to your brain and experience.

I'm building an early-stage project around qualifying AI for real enterprise work, and I'm looking for people with serious experience in:

- IT

- Finance / accounting

- Legal

- Procurement / supply chain

- Insurance

- Operations

- Marketing

- Other specialized fields

I'm calling them Associates.

The basic idea: you know the work, the edge cases and where AI gets things wrong. We want to turn that expertise into something that can create value.

Full disclosure: I'm bootstrapping this and I don't currently have a budget to pay Associates. The intention is for Associates to eventually participate economically (revenue share) in the value their expertise creates.

So I'm curious:

- Would you become an Associate?

- Would you contribute your expertise if there was potential revenue share?

- What would make it worth your time?

- What would stop you from doing it?

- Do you know people who would be interested?

Any and all feedback appreciated, ideas on how to improve the offer, the maths I may be blind to..also feel free to DM me ....

I want to hear your AI deployment WAR stories

So I'm a QA at a fintech/Insurtech and an AI deployment lead...Some time ago we were tasked with deploying AI in our workflows across departments and Dear Lord I've never Gone through such shit in my life before , changing requirements, internal disputes on processes, rushed deadlines and AI outputs that need babysitting (Ours almost gave a Tesla payout for a camry .)

So I wanted to hear your war stories ;

  • Has AI produced the goods ,leave alone the customer calls transcrips and identifying callers, evaluating tickets, I mean the heavy duty stuff..maybe even things that need cross departmental collaboration that went to shit...or actually worked (how?)
  • Whats the worst thing you have seen AI fumble at work?
  • Do you believe colleagues are actually ready to use AI to build deterministic algos to do the work? Its easy to use AI to create algos to do stuff, but AI is the ultimate Garbage in Garbage Out machine....
  • Have you ever averted disaster because of AI outputs being taken at face value?
  • Across your workplace, where do you think has been the hardest to implement AI?engineering,HR,Ops,legal etc

I'm intrigued by the war stories after going through them, they say you are your own first customer...so I thought maybe I could jump into B2B with this .

So I'm particularly interested in things that looked like they should have been easy for AI but failed because of company specific knowledge, processes, exceptions or human knowledge/interference...failed AI deploys and why etc

Who here knows if this is a scam?

So some time ago I was scrolling Instagram and saw an ad that there's a silicon valley Africa program by some company called First Of All LLC...

I applied, didn't think much of it (Brainfart 0.5)...

Then I got an email today praising me to high heaven...I've progressed to phase 2 where they'll due diligence my ass to see my criminal record and what not ,arrange for my visa (they assist)...for a tiny $20 (hmm...but ok,...Brainfart 1.0 loading?)before I paid,

I decided to go ahead and actually research these guys....hold on....their news articles by Yahoo etc..are all paid articles and don't even mention a program director or even 1 team member....

Their website doesn't even mention the team directors as well for the program...just an itinerary...their main website is some sort of identity and authentication site...but no about no team..

I've done some napkin maths and if these guys are a scam, a blended $25 (there's a $30 program),assuming 10,000 applications across the 6 countries they are looking at...$250k and they can claim we all failed.

Wadau,I believe I can fly....but was I about to be thrown off a tree and told to flap my arms ?

If not Johnny,then who?

Which fictional character ,cyberpunk 2077 or otherwise from any film or book do you think would make an engaging relic and why?

I think guy Fawkes from V for vendetta would probably drive me crazy with the V jokes...

How does the neural matrix actually work?

So the neural matrix is an AI that can be programmed to remove the blackwall from somi? Am I getting that right or how exactly does it work?and how would it even do that,if the blackwall is as capable as we know it to be?

How would the neural matrix work on V since the relic has deeply integrated with V's neurology?

Matter of fact how did Nusa remove the relic?did they have a neural matrix of their own?
