What the hell happened to my Uncharted 2 saves? Any idea would be appreciated!
So out of the blue my Uncharted 2 saves are not appearing and not usable. Same console, same local and PSN profile, same game disc I used since 2010. I had my save files backed up to the cloud, I redownloaded them, I reinstalled the game data, the patches, I did a file system restore, a database rebuild multiple times, every other game and every other Uncharted game works fine, but suddenly U2 is refusing to use my save files.
If I create a new game save file, I can see 2 Uncharted 2 game folders in my saved data folder… But why? It’s the same region game disc I always used…
What the heck? I have no Idea what the issue is. I even had local USB backups for my saves all the way back to 2018 and even copying those files back does not make a difference…
Some additional information: my hard drive was upgraded to an SSD 3-4 years ago and I migrated my entire game and save library with the official method then, but never had an issue since.
It’s not a big issue, I can replay the game if needed it’s just bugging me. I’m a long time PS3 enthusiast, and I never seen something like this.
Do you guys have any Idea what’s causing this? :/ I would be very thankful!
