How to know if your cat would be happier with another cat?
Mabel just turned 1. I play with her everyday, but I’m wondering if she is lonely.
I am gone for work M-F for about 8 hours at a time. She seems like she sleeps most of the time I am gone from looking at my pet camera. She has lots of toys, tunnels, cat trees, etc. to occupy her time, but I’m worried it’s not enough.
She sometimes whines/cries for no reason. She has everything she needs at the time she is doing this, and I can’t figure out what she wants. I’m wondering if it’s boredom/loneliness without another cat?
Thoughts?
