Film grain as a style choice

I’m making my first documentary, and I’m trying to decide how to grade. I personally want it to emulate film. Atleast the colour space and saturated retro feel. I’m trying to decide if adding a small amount of grain will look strange, considering it has been filmed digital.
From a personal standpoint I prefer it, but what is the general feeling towards this? Thanks.

Arsenal Fan documentary

I’m an independent filmmaker in the early stages of developing a documentary about Arsenal supporters.
The film isn’t about tactics or transfers—it’s about people.
I’m looking to speak to Arsenal fans whose lives have been shaped by the club in some way. Maybe you met your partner through Arsenal, you’ve supported the club with your family for generations, the club helped you through a difficult period, you travel huge distances to every game, or Arsenal simply became a place where you found a sense of belonging.
I’m interested in stories that show what supporting Arsenal means beyond the 90 minutes.
At this stage, I’m just looking to have informal conversations with people and hear their stories. There’s absolutely no obligation to be filmed.
If you think you have a story worth sharing, or you know someone who does, please send me a DM or leave a comment.
Thank you!
