Oh shit, my favorite Trans Rights sub is back to public?

So I guess Lionsgate is letting (seemingly) random YouTubers upload full movies to their channels.

I first noticed it when The Film Theorists (a.k.a the Film Theory channel) uploaded The Mist, and now La La Land is free to watch in full.

Film Cooper (the La La Land uploader) doesn't even seem to be a film channel. I haven't heard of him before, but just skimming his uploads, he seems to deal more with pop culture/internet discussion blogging. Not really my thing, but whatever.

This is such a weird promotion, if that is what is going on. Has anyone else found any other uploads like these?
