Dog rescues CSRA

I have been taking care of a gentleman in Evans for two years that passed away a couple weeks ago. He had two dogs, one we found a home for. The other is a sweet pitbull mix. I love her and would keep her, but the same day the owner died, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer and I need to go care for him in Alabama. If anyone can give me some ideas on what to do. If I leave her the family will probably take her and dump her out. I had a woman want to foster her but she suddenly ghosted me. She is a beautiful pit mix maybe 45 lbs, that wears pearls. I just don’t know what to do. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Documentary coverage overload

I love me a good true crime podcast but this is getting absurd. Every single true crime podcast is regurgitating Netflix documentaries. If you are a true crime fan enough to enjoy podcasts, you are most likely going to watch new TC docs. I get on Spotify multiple times a day hoping a new episode dropped and every single podcast is covering the Shirilla doc and the Maternal instinct. Do they not see the other 300 TCP that have already dropped an episode on them? And it’s just regurgitation. We are good! Stop it! It’s always sorta been like that, but is it getting worse? It’s been two weeks of the same two things on every TCP.

I’ve noticed how distasteful some of the TC pods cover art have become. As someone who has had two friends murdered, I find it disgusting the AI shock art they are using to promote episodes. The Annie Elise cover art for the Athena Strand episode is absolutely insanely atrocious. Her shocked face between a picture of that poor baby and that monster is sickening. I have zero words. I’ve noticed others but hers is the one that has set me off the most.(she is factually incorrect a lot btw). I worked in law enforcement and like I said, have lost two friends from murder(off duty domestic situations) and we are losing the plot. Who do they think they are advocating for? If you are going to have a platform to “advocate for victims and their families”, you can’t also be exploiting them. Am I overreacting? I just can’t wrap my brain around this trend.
