any advice on managing a budget with fluctuating income?
I would like to add that the starred numbers and the credit cards fluctuate as well as my income. my job is part time at a school and I was able to score a gig working with the school over the summer but it’ll be very very less hours. my partner income fluctuates slightly but she consistently works 40 hr every two weeks versus my part time currently being around 25 hours a week following a school calendar. I’ve been searching for jobs but also my schedule is mid day so my search is limited to early morning or evening or weekends.
I didn’t add food because I do receive benefits though they just got lowered to $150 but they said I can show proof if my income changes so I will when I get my summer paycheck.
I am also worried about gas because I usually put it on a credit card but the first cc amount is getting closed because they decreased my amount from $1200 to $400.
we are usually fine. I move money around where when I’m paid we are usually paid out for the month minus the rent but it’s been helped by credit cards and since they are changing my amounts, I want to change my focus to paying and closing amounts so I’m debt free esp when my student loans are almost out of their grace period.
