Just pouring some reality into this subreddit

I am the same person who made post about how reddit made me feel demotivated, I saw the comments and feel most of the students here haven't searched job off placements and are underestimating the value of MBA

I know this place is so optimistic but sometimes a reality check is also needed to truly appreciate what we have without wailing or putting others down.

Job search

Job search through off placements is really tough wheter you agree or not

Proper genuine guidance outside known circle is rare than you think( not the social media one, tbh no one gives guidance without benefit)

Trial and error

When you are gonna search job trial and error is gonna take more time and effort than you can actually think of

MBAs value

MBA irrespective of tier can open up some more opportunities where MBA becomes a mandate so no way it's just a piece of paper ( Idk why but I feel it's also a new opinion set by social media)

❗Salary Expectation

Not everyone expect same salary, some just want a stable salary tho it's less, some feel it's not enough, don't set same standard for all

Some may even wonder how a person can live with something as less as this 😅, bro everyone lives happily in this world it's just their expenses , lifestyle , family expectations are different from yours, it doesn't mean they aren't successful.❗

One standard for all don't work in reality

You can live contended with anything if you wish to

To think of it no one is contented in this subreddit , Tier 3 wishes for Tier 2, Tier 2 for tier 1 and tier 1 for foreign MBA 😂

Yup there needs enthusiasm but also we as a generation need to emphasise on setting a upper limit ( tbh social media has ruined the upper limit causing unwanted stress)

Be happy and a bit more contended friends , this subreddit is missing that vibe ✨🌼

Gonna do MBA in Tier 3 college (idk everyone has their own tier list , mine's regional with 6 lpa median CTC and fee 10l including pvt hostel n other stuffs)- have 3 yrs gap, honestly reddit is demotivating me a lot - need guidance

I don't have any family pressure like 12lpa or you aren't my son type

Tbh if I get a job I'll be first one to work in organized sector, I don't have anyone who can actually guide me and tbh I was really happy a for getting in this college a couple of days back

Then I came to this sub after a random google search and it's depressing

What type of roles should I focus on and what skills I need to gain to get placed

Well this is how I felt after being here https://www.reddit.com/r/MBAIndia/s/IRXcYY1CAt
