Sailing on Summit in about 40 days. Vancouver to Seward. There is no Entertainment listed. Does that post later, or is it possible they are not offering any Entertainment options on this cruise?
Not the biggest deal if they don’t, but just seems unusual.
Also, are there any shore excursions that you think would be regrettable not to do?
We have a videoconferenced training day next week, and I’m responsible for managing our 30-person site. Lots to complain about, but today I realize all the other sites but one are using meeting facilities. I was fortunate to be able to set something set up at the office of a business contact. It’s going to be tight, but no cost. I was discouraged from incurring meeting room costs, despite being the largest site with the most reason to need a meeting facility.
Today I asked about expected dress code, as I see the other sites are going jeans OK, but because we’re at a business office, we should dress up. After the meeting we are having an activity, for which everyone will need to change into something casual. The person making the decision I have never seen in anything other than casual attire, and because he’s flying in, he has the ability to go back to his hotel and change—the activity is by his hotel.
The lack of consistency is draining.
