Bitwig goes yellow after 10-20 minutes. Version 6.0.6.
Changing different rendering modes to vulcan, opengl doesn't help.

I owned a lot of Line 6 gear through years and that what i got with this amazing company:
Years ago i found the terrible bug in pod farm 2 or gearbox with midi, that broke all your loaded presets. And then also can brick ur device, or turn off ur pod x3 screen, so you will need to boot x3 in safe mode and update firmware to make screen to work. I could reproduce it over and over. I reported it to support. Answer was - yeah yeah, we will think about it in future updates, thank you. 10 years later - pod farm is still selling, nothing updated ofc
Then i bought new UX2, but my pod farm platinum licence was not working there. Support said to buy another one. I bought.
Then i bought used Kb37 just for keys, coz i liked company. And they did not work together. Pod farm with UX2 worked fine Except billion of BSODs when connected as asio to daw. But when you were connected kb37 - you got pod farm in trial, even when UX2 was selected as interface. I wrote tickets, recieved typical answers, but noting helps. i tested this config on other Pcs - same. Imagine my insanity and trust to this company i bought third licence just to use kb37rarely as keys, to no let it interferes my ux2 recordings.
Then i bought hd 500. It was completely nightmare to use it with win 10 with bsods and broken footswitches. So i silently sold it.
5 years ago i bought helix, nothing bad to say, but ability to brick your device when you updated your firmware was fantastic. So i used it, and it worked like a charm in autorized service centre 2 weeks.
Couple months ago i looked marketplace, i needed many inputs and found UX8, why not. What could go wrong? Yes, i'm naive. Maybe i like to be clown. First of all this circus started that Monkey was already turned off. So you needed to install latest firmware to work on win11 through diagnostics. Okay cool. But the problem is there are no UX8 in Downloads on official line 6 website. Great btw. So i wrote this in support - support said: WE DON'T WORK WITH RUSSIANS ANYMORE. SANCTIONS, YOU KNOW 😄 Okay, i found a guy in discord who had UX8 firmware on his harddrive, updated my device, opened gearbox and got fantastic BSOD 3 hours later. It was wonderful!
I thought, okay, the universe told me not to use any line 6 gear. So i decided to sell everything connected with line 6. I found dusty kb37 with lisence and tryed to checked out its operation condition before sale. To my surprise there were no more Toneport devices section in drivers. Only studio one, for my case - studio kb37. Okay i installed it. Driver file in windows called something like l6kb37.sys. But the memories of dancing around through years said me that it is wrong. But i anyway i turned some music to test and got little sound dropouts every 5-15 minutes.
I started to google. And yes for toneport device the driver should be called something like toneport.sys, not l6kb37.sys But all toneport devices are not there in downloads on official website anymore... So i downloaded drivers for PODxt and it really had in package l6tportk64.sys file, installed it and dropouts while listening something stopped. As naive boy i sent all this info to line 6 support, that studio drivers for toneport devices are not equal, something is wrong there - but recieved default YOU ARE RUSSIAN, BYE.
Just for lulz i decided to compare toneport.sys and kb37.sys, decomplie, reverse engineer some stuff what i could how to do, later decided to investigate the nature of BSODs on Toneport, Studio, POD x3, HD and Hdx, and even Helix. Yes, i found friend who had on his shelf some of this stuff. Imagine my insanity? 😄
Month later I found real solution for most of BSODS, 48000-441000 stucked, and just for sound dropouts. All these problems were reported on line 6 websites for years... You know the answer - silence... Also i found solution with really old gear and Gearbox how to avoid BSODs on win11. Also a solution when you turn off usb cable when device is using ASIO and it immediately goes bsod. The real solution how to fix this with couple modifications. I wrote long read in the letter to support how to update 4.2.7.7 drivers with couple bytes. And how to make 64 sample rate to work on pods and toneports. And did some notices about simple fixes to buggy helix USB IO in windows enviroment.
And... the answer was: AH YOU ARE FROM RUSSIA WE DON'T MAKE ANY OPERATIONS IN RUSSIA, YOU ARE SANCTIONED, WE LIKE TO MAKE MUSIC IN IRAN, WE EVEN DON'T READ UR LETTER, SO DEAR USER, WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR GREAT INTENTIONS. I wanted to copypaste it here, but they deleted my ticket 😄 I'm sorry guys...
And ...after month of this funny hobby i noticed message that Licence manager is ended too. But you can autorize ur stuff through line 6 central they say. Yeah, yeah. You can on paper. My KB37 POD FARM license can't be eveluated, the models are on device, but pc is not autorized, so nothing will work. Also UX8 POD farm license does not exist. I don't sure about my ilok license that i had the first. I think it will not work too. I'm too broke to check it.
I will not sell this gear, i move it to thrash, for real. Nobody should use this DRM nicest ever stuff. And helix will be beaten via hammer to fix my frustration. If company in its 30 anniversary is acting like this to its LEGACY, then why i as sanctioned user should lvl up their stocks on the market. I don't care anymore. See ya in hell.
PS I will never ever pay for anything DRM protected, never for any digital licences and etc. Thank you Line 6, i was good life lesson.
PS2 YAMAHA MUSIC GROUP is operating in Russia almost Fully. Website with updated news, social media in russian.
PS3. Sorry for my english, I dont care about L6, yamaha, and etc in my life anymore. Good luck. Pod sounded great. But it's time to move away from this abusive relationship
