CA, best job to maximize hours for LCSW licensure
Hi all,
I will be done with my MSW this week. Wondering what type of job would get me the most hours on a daily basis which could apply to my hours to get licensure as a LCSW. I basically don't want to take a job where only a few hours out of a 8 hour shift will count toward licensure hours, if that makes sense. So far I have had someone in private practice reach out to me who stated they expect me to have a 15 client caseload minimum, as well as my associate from a crisis house reach out about working there. In both of my practicums I did extensive individual therapy under supervision, and I have experience working with SUD clients and those experiencing homelessness for the last 7 years or so. Any suggestions or even leads would be appreciated, thank you.
