Asking for a friend who is applying in the next round of applications. she is not sure whether to apply to Respiratory or Gastroenterology HST, she enjoyed both during IMT. which one has a better lifestyle long term and would allow for a better family life and work balance. Thank you.

I was fortunate enough to secure a Resp NTN. I’m interested to know the training structure in terms of GIM. a couple of my friends who are already trainees have spend quite a significant proportion of their training doing GIM. is this the norm everywhere? are there any years of the training where it’s purely respiratory medicine. thank you
