I just published my first pattern free on Ravelry.

The Afterthought Everything Sock Recipe walks you through making made-to-measure socks out of pre-knit stockinette tubes.

These tubes can be handknit (ideal mindless tv knitting) or made on a circular sock machine. Lots of yarn dyers and Etsy vendors sell these tubes pre-made so you can get straight into it.

Add the cuff, toe, and heel and you're on your way to a drawer of socks and the bottom of your scraps bin.
