One of my chinchillas has an irritation in one eye (I suspect from his dust bath) and cannot be seen immediately by his usual vet. I want to help keep his eye clear while waiting for his appointment, but I am scared to buy a product that could be harmful to him. Can anyone recommend a specific product (a link would be helpful too) that they have used before or a vet has recommended to them, that they know are safe for chins? People recommend "sterile saline solution" online but I can't seem to find a brand that doesn't contain additional ingredients. I am in the US. Thank you!
