New stereo with ODB2 integration.
I can’t believe I waited so long to buy and install a Sony XAV-AX4000. On sale at Crutchfield with the installation kit and iData Maestro. The integrated OBD scanner is worth it in itself for those who wheel and want to keep an eye on tranny and coolant temps. Sound is good (not great with factory speakers and no sound deadening… maybe next year for that massive project.
Also replaced the climate backlights with LEDs. Long overdue and worth the 5 minutes and $10 it takes since you don’t have to pull everything to get to them if you haven’t already done it.
I know there are some OEM freaks out there who love to keep things original, so I’d be happy to mail the OEM deck to anybody willing to pay for the shipping. It’s fully functional and in good shape. PM me and I’m happy to get it to you to keep it out of the dump.
