question.

so i've recently rewatched the show for the first time since 2020 and the amount of times i've watched it over and over again might be unhealthy like i can't fall asleep unless the show's playing but that's irrelevant. My question is about Emma and Audrey. Season 2 Episode 10 this is the episode Noah is attacked and Zoey gets killed but now about my question, when Emma goes over to Audrey's house to try and hear her out about the "i brought piper to lakewood" situation. Emma asks Audrey if she knew Piper was her sister the whole time and she said yes and then Emma says "and when i started to think my half sister was the killer why didn't you say anything?" that might not be exactly how she said it but it's pretty well along the lines of it. Now my question is when did Emma ever suspect Piper as the killer? Not once have i seen or heard Emma say anything to anyone about her being suspicious of Piper. I mean there really wasn't any reason for her to suspect Piper and even if she actually did I don't think that was ever discussed in season one so i'm genuinely just curious where that came from, please lmk if i'm missing something because i genuinely can't put my finger on it!!

Tariq vs Ghost

Genuine question.

So i understand everyone's hatred for Tariq but question is yeah you hate him for killing Ghost but can you hate or blame him for hating Ghost?

If so why? Don't be biased and genuinely think about every reason why he had hate for Ghost.

Series Finale Tomorrow Midnight

I already know how much everyone hates what the chi has come to these last 6 maybe 5 seasons.

With that being said here's a little appreciation to the show before it went to 💩 and ends.

Seasons 1 and 2 were peak. Great acting, great storyline. The show actually had light then.

I'm a bit of a late watcher considering i started watching it in 2023 so at the time i didn't really realize how much the show actually felt like comfort because of Brandon and Ronnie. I actually wish they never killed him and despite the "wrong" Ronnie did by killing Coogie i actually hated that he died.

i feel like season 6 was somewhat of a lil redemption for them and then they fell back to rock bottom when Kevin left.

i don't really have nothin else good too say about this show. soo umm lmk what y'all have to say about it.

but one more thing, the writers of show sure do know how to kill off a main character at the end of each season so who y'all think is going out? me personally i'll have to say Bakari, Jake, Shaad, or Trig.

Kanan and Breeze.

Yo so i just came across this video basically explaining how it was already stated by Raq in season one that Defcon was gay. Now in this video there was a scene shown from season 3 of Kanan, Ronnie, Snaps, and Pop having a talk about Defcon and how he didn't drink nor do drugs and what not. Now what stood out to me about this scene is when Pop said "he barely messed with girls either, your mom was the only one i ever knew about". Now if i'm not mistaken Breeze is supposed to be Snaps and Pop's "nephew" whether or not that's blood idk because it hasn't been stated. But if it is by blood then it's obviously not because of Defcon. I'm assuming the relationship between Breeze and Snaps and Pop happened because of his mom. Idk if this was already said in the show or not but i'm assuming Breeze's mom (crackle) and Snaps and Pop all ran together back in the day and hit banks together and at some point crackle died and they took Breeze in. Now what i'm trying to get at is how did we go from Raq being the only girl Pop has Defcon with to Breeze being their nephew and Defcon being his father? When Breeze told Kanan that they were brother thru Defcon I was 50/50 between okay it makes sense and Breeze is up to something. Now that i've come across this video and actually thought about this i'm thinking maybe Breeze, Snaps and Pop are all tryna play Kanan but what I don't get is why. Kanan still hasn't found out what they did to Krystal and Famous. I mean maybe they could be trying to protect themselves bc of that or it could be something else. When the trailer for released a couple of the clips aligned and kinda looked like Snaps, Pop, and Kanan were shooting at each other. But idk i'm just having a hard time believing that they're brothers like obviously they aren't bc Kanan's dad is Howard but i think there's more to this storyline and I honestly can't wait to see what they do with it. But y'all lmk what y'all think.

season 8 episode seven 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

boy wth. first they drop the episode over an hour late. then the first 10 minutes of the episode had me like y'all could've delayed ts longer.

emmett- "she don't get a say in this"
tiff- "i should!"
emmett- "you my ex wife"
tiff- "im also the mother of one of your kids"
THAT NEITHER OF YOU TAKE CARE OF!!

the thing that pissed me off the most is the scene of tiff, bakari, and vic. why does tiff feels like Bakari owes her or was obligated to tell her abt Rob? they had no prior relationship or conversation before episode 6 other than working and for nuck. it was just "i didn't have a choice" now all of a sudden "i always have a choice" like come on nie bakari.

now they just stretching out the episodes because there was no point of bringing this Fatima and Vic storyline back like bro.

Bro the most interesting thing abt this episode was Jake's no phone party.

literally the only people that's not pmo this season is Jake , his girl, Kenya, and Papa.

yk ts bad when papa go from being a hard watch to being one of the best parts of the episode. i'd rather watch 30 minutes of papa and them bs ahh braids and them goofy ahh eyebrows than 5 minutes of tiff and this triangle between her, vic, and bakari.

i was on bakari's side up until now (i still am) but why would you admit to killing nuck in self defense. ts not gon hold up in court. and now touisant or wtv her name is back asking where nuck is while Bakari's just living in his apartment.
One wrong slip up and Bakari's gone. There was literally no point of agreeing to do that. Tiff is not gonna kill you and so what if she does yeah you're dead but she just makes it worse for herself.

i might be tripping but i think they're tryna set this up for a spinoff with emmett tryna expand smokey's into atlanta, vegas, and some other place i forgot.

i'm assuming the next episode is when we'll see most of the stuff we seen in the clip from the BET AWARDS show. anyways this was probably one of the worst episodes throughout this whole season and possibly episode but maybe i'm just tripping.

lmk what yall think and how y'all feel.

25xx for life though, imo they both just need to sit down and have a real talk about what they actually wanna do

Season 5 Episode 4

This episode was actually cool.

Not too action packed but also enough action going on to lead us into these last 4 episodes.

Let's start with Juke and this detective. Me personally I don't too much get the point of this storyline. I mean sure they need something to do with Juke's character but realistically there isn't enough time left to cover her character as a whole with it only being 4 episodes left and also not knowing if Juke will be in Origins or not but i doubt it (at least not the first season). Tbh the only thing I can come up with when it comes to Juke is she'll either end up killing the detective, she'll realize there isn't anything for her in the south side and decide to go the cop route and just be back and forth. Tbh i don't really know what's gonna happen with Juke but if y'all have any ideas lmk.

Next i'm gonna go with Kanan's new girl. I think that was a nice way to introduce Jarita (Shawn's mom) into the franchise. She's gonna also be in Origins as well. Idk if anyone here has seen it or not but there was some filming that was recorded and leaked of her and Kanan arguing outside for a scene in origins. that was actually one of the best scenes of this season for me for some reason.

Next we have talkin Taz. Idk what it is but i genuinely just hated his character. Yea Kanan came around and you got belittled but that really had nothing to do with him yet you have this one-sided beef with him instead of confronting Breeze. I can see why he didn't confront Breeze but he literally got the same outcome with came. He was doing all that talkin like he was ready to throw down and then felt that right hand, went for his gun and died (smh). But that's beside the point. R.I.P you tho.

Now we have Raq. I love Raq like rs but i also don't know what they're gonna do with her character over these next 4 episodes as well. Jail, death, or is she gonna get out the game like Unique did. Gotta love Patina's acting tho. I'm actually hoping Raq makes it out or goes to prison at the least i mean it makes the most sense. We can't have all these gangsters just die right? We need at least one character to portray how the game really is irl. Jail/Death/Leaving it behind. So far we have only seen Unique leave and Lou die. I think Raq'll probably face life in prison and Marvin'll die or It'll take Marvin dying, Kanan and Juke already being against her, and Lou also being dead after this war we see coming for her to realize she needs to get out. I think it'll be kinda cool to see both Raq and Nique make it considering they both ran the south side at a time and they'll earn that real southside legends title.

And then there's Breeze. I actually like his character a lot. At first I was a lil iffy and thought he had an angle. We now know what Breeze's thing for Kanan is. They're blood "brothers". Obviously they're not blood brothers because Kanan's real father is Howard and Kanan himself knows that. If anyone else caught on or pays attention to what 50 says when he comes on and voices over the scene he was basically saying "yeah Defcon isn't my father, it's Howard but i've been lied to so much and for so long i had no other choice but to live up to the person i've been told was my father all along so basically the truth doesn't matter because after being fed all the lies and bs for so long he just had to accept it and believe it". which is right i mean Kanan spent most of his life being brought up as Defcon's son not Howard's and by the time he found out abt Howard his upbringing was over and he was pretty much almost a grown man. Defcon being Breeze's father also fully explains Breeze's character when it comes to the way his is in the game and the way he goes out.

This is getting too long so imma just do Kanan and Marv together. We're actually being able to see how Kanan turns into the ruthless killer he is in OG Power now. Idk if it's just me or not but i can actually see him maturing a bit more now and actually becoming smarter. The lil chess play he did with Jarita by sleeping with her and bringing her in close and pretending he didn't know she worked for Raq was actually smart and a good way to get back at Raq for the 150th incident. I think Kanan's also gonna piece tg that Snaps and Pop had Famous killed and killed Krystal over the next 1-2 episodes now that we know Kanan and Breeze are "blood brothers" at least in Breeze's eyes I think he'll play a hand in that and/or taking them out as well. Last but not least starvin Marvin, It's nice to see that he's tryna get closer to God or at least open his heart to let God enter his life but we know stuff like this doesn't end well for people like him. i'm pretty sure he'll die between the last two episodes. If you pay enough attention to his character towards the season finales something also goes worse than it was for him. Season 1 he went to Jail, season 2 he got shot and lost his girl/Renee or wtv, season 3 he found out Gerald was working against him and also lost him and then considering season 5 picked up right where season 4 left off he lost Lou as well. Once they started giving sentimental moments between characters like this it's basically the confirmation that he's a dead man. What did it for me was the big brother little sister family talk between him and Raq. I think he'll most likely go out as a sacrifice for Jukebox or Raq. Lmk what y'all think though.

Me personally overall rating for the episode 7/10.

If you haven't go watch the trailer for episode 5!!

And to my people that also stay up late to watch The Chi brace ya self and let's see what bs they got for us today.

what's genuinely going on.

So both of these mfs just got outta jail 2 episodes ago and two episodes later Vic is being an accessory to murder and if you've seen the trailer for episode 6 then you've seen what looks like Shaad going to shoot/kill somebody. Who could he POSSIBLY be shooting?? Patience's babydaddy? REG?? Like WHO?! this man aint got no opps and he not in the streets fr so what's going on?? Now i'm not complaining as in like "oh this is bad story writing" i'm just genuinely curious what happened to doing the right thing and not going back.
