Hi has anyone who used the first home scheme been required by them to take out life cover?
I know I require mortgage protection for the mortgage but the first home scheme site just says it’s recommended to have life cover for the value of the equity share. Is this an actual requirement they’ll look for or just recommendation?

I’m sale agreed on a new build apartment and I noticed that one wall has no sockets on it at all. Now it’s a one bed so I need sockets on this wall for a desk etc, there’s nowhere else it could go. Is it possible to get the builders to add these? The apartment is fully built and ready to move into but I haven’t signed contracts yet or snagged.
Do I ask solicitor for help on this or real estate agent?
