First Timer: Do I Need?

I am growing ever bearing strawberries in a 20”x20” planter (way too deep!) — anyway, do you need these nettings to keep the fruit safe (when it comes…). Mine hasn’t — planted 4” seedlings around 5/25…thx!

Favorite Fertilizer: Liquid or Granular & Why

I love growing tomato’s but it seems the more I know, the more questions I have!!! So now it’s this one: should I continue to feed my darlings water soluble nutrients or go w a granular sort and scratch into top layer and then water? Which works best? And what are your favorites??? Seems to me the granular choice makes more sense because it doesn’t get washed away…but if I knew, I wouldn’t be asking!!! Thanks in advance for your help…CT based.

What’s Going On w My Stag?

Hi all. The off color shading of this frond is identical to another that’s base turned black and fell out. Can anyone tell me what fungus or whatever my baby has? Thank you!

MONSTERS!!!

Through out the Vegas Tourney I was amazed by UM’s play…but this game against Gonzaga was when I knew…I have the texts to friends to prove it—they told me I was crazy. This team in DECEMBER ‘25 had the recipe to win it all already…and had 14 weeks to perfect it. GO BLUE!

Hi all — I know this sounds silly but the place I go for tomatoes — Sam’s Bridges in Greenwich CT won’t sell tomato’s until 5/15…and I am ready NOW. Can anybody recommend a place I can get my tomato garden going sooner than that 5/15 in Southern Westchester or CT??? Thank you!

I had three extra 5g fabric pots — so I planted 12 varieties of lettuce in them. No, not the best choice, but what’s done is done. I am already thinking about what to do when I go away for a long weekend or even when I’m at work and it’s super hot out…what type of automated irrigation system would you recommend for the three pots? Thx!
