AMD Omen max, or zephyrus g16 2026 both?
I'm struggling on deciding on which one I should suck up to given their different niches. YES, I understand both are obscenely expensive rn, but I still want a new one to get a protection to make sure it lasts for years. So my debate is simply use case and performance.
**Use case:**
Recent graduate and commissioned officer, so I'd need it to continue more school, work, and occasional gaming on the go as I have a desktop at home for most sit down gaming. Background is a pilot and also computer information systems.
**Differences:**
**As** far as I can tell the pros and the cons of each are as follows:

\+more battery efficient (supposedly)
\+better software
\+premium design
\+better speakers/display(anti-reflective)
\-No upgradability
\-Asus support, supposedly bad as of late
\-more expensive
\-Anything goes wrong I can't repair myself
\-underpowered due to size
Omen max:
\+Maxed gpu and cpu power
\+Redesigned cooling to be even more efficient and a with higher tpp
\+upgradable
\+numpad and per key rgb
\+reliable support
\+still good battery (igpu only)
\+Redesigned keyboard
\+OLED option
\+Usually cheaper
\-Meh software (only OGH really)
\-Heavy
\-bulky charger (can be fixed with only type c charger)
\-slightly worse build quality
\-thermal compound terrible placement from factory usually
\-main sdd/wifi card, still under cooling solution
