I FINALLY got to join the club!
First-timer here with some noob questions. I’ve wanted a Jeep since I was a child in the 70s and rode in one belonging to my uncle, and I got this 2016 JK last weekend—lifted, less than 57,000 miles, and I am IN LOVE with her! I got to take her to the beach on Friday and loved every minute—nobody could tell me shit, riding high off the ground after over a decade in a Civic!
The interior is nearly immaculate, and I’d like to keep it that way so please let me know if you have a reliable source for neoprene seat covers. I think I would like to buy a soft-top for her as well. Also, I’m only 5’1” and getting in and out on the Aries rocker steps has proven that I’m less than graceful, so I’m wondering if there is a way to attach a lower step to the rocker steps! And lastly, the aluminum grab bars inside really sizzle in this Gulf Coast heat—any suggestions for covers I could buy so I don’t burn my hands when I use it to haul my short self up and in?
Finally, I’m open to any tips and tricks you’ve picked up along the way, since I’m starting from scratch here! Thanks in advance!
