I don’t want to start 4th year rotations

I took a few weeks off after finishing boards and now my first rotation is tomorrow and I’m not looking forward to it at all. I’m applying IM and my school make us set up all our rotations for the whole year (doing rotations right up till match day unfortunately). First rotation is a 2 week IM rotation at the my local VA which I have been told is pretty chill but it’s now like a mini audition since I am on a team of PGY-2’s and interns from my top place which is great and terrifying at the same time. I’m just not looking forward to this whole process of having to perform well at a different place every month and also applying to residency.

No motivation to start on 4th year stuff

I’m 2.5 weeks post boards and 2 weeks from starting 4th year rotations and I have no motivation to work on my residency app or to even start rotations. All my away rotation requirements are done for now, my personal statement is written but not revised and I have two LoRs uploaded waiting on a chair letter and hoping to snag one more in the next couple months (applying IM) but I have no motivation to work on the experience/research section like it’s mapped out but I don’t want to write about it. I’ve just kinda been rotting the past couple weeks but feel bad about it cause I feel like I need to be productive. How does one break this cycle?

5 days till Level 2, what should I focus on?

I took Step 2 yesterday and take Level 2 in 5 days. Planning to hit OMM hard and do the Amboss study plan but I am wondering what else I should refresh since I have been in Step mode for a while lol. Here are my stats:

COMSAE Phase 2 score was 570

Form 113 was 589

Form 114 was 600

Welcoms have all been 78-80% correct

TrueLearn is 80% complete with 72% correct.

Uworld is 100% complete with 63% correct

NBME 16: 261 and Free 120: 85%

Any tips for these last few days?

How am I looking?

Step 2 in 13 days, Level 2 in 19 days

Aiming for a 245-250 on Step and over a 600 for level 2

3/29- UWSA1 216 (Pre-dedicated)

4/9 COMSAE Phase 2 570

4/27 NBME 10 242

Truelearn Form A 75% correct

5/4 NBME 11 248

5/7 COMSAE 113 589

5/12 NBME 14 250

5/15 Old (2021) Free 120 75%

63% Uworld so far 90% complete

80% Truelearn Completed so far at 72.6% correct

Skipped NBME 12 and 13 due to time, I have completed the latest CMS forms for IM, Peds, OB, Surgery and Neuro and did well on them all.

Still have UWSA2, NBME 15 and 16 as well as the new free 120. Also plan to do some other COMSAEs in there somewhere.

I have alot more data points but the anxiety is getting to me though and I just wanted to see if I am on track for solid scores.

13 days out how am I looking?

DO student really just aiming for a 245-250

3/29- UWSA1 216 (Pre-dedicated)

4/27 NBME 10 242

5/4 NBME 11 248

5/12 NBME 14 250

63% Uworld so far 90% complete

Have just under 4 weeks until my test date.

Completed UWSA 1 about a month and a half ago got a 216

Completed NBME 10 on 4/27 got a 242

Just did NBME 11 today got a 248

Planning on doing 2 to 3 more NBME's, the UWSA 2 and the new free 120, but I am not sure which NBME forms to prioritize. I also have been incorporating the newest CMS forms into my study routine as well. I also don't want to do more than that due to burnout and also since I am taking Comlex Level 2 so I have to sprinkle some assessments for that in there too.

Any advice on which ones would be the best to prioritize to take or which are the most representative would be great.

Currently have four weeks till step 2 and five weeks for level 2. Did very well on my shelf/comat exams during rotations (range between 101-117)

about 5 weeks ago: UWSA 1: 216

4/9/26 COMSAE Phase 2: 570

both of these were before any dedicated and I had just come off rotations

4/27/26: NBME 10: 242

Still have around 30% of Uworld to complete, right now I am at 61% correct.

71% correct on Truelearn with 50% complete so far.

How should I prioritize my time left? Which Comsae or NBME forms should I prioritize?
