BioMed Engineers who have a job, just how coding intensive is it? And what coding skillsets are most desired in the field?

I'm sorry if this post isn't specific enough as I'm basically grasping at straws where I am right now. I'm a 19yo 2nd year community college student who is aiming for my BIO degree as my institution doesn't offer a BME major. I'm currently trying to find out what my next step is going to be (there's a lot of technical hurdles for me there).

I've never coded once in my life and have terrible ADHD that makes me hate math---but I love streamlining processes and making them more efficient. However, my college offers a ton of different coding classes, and I'm unsure which one to take/try out in order to get the most useful skillset. C++, Python, Linux, etc., or CS classes/intro to excel.

I'm also applying for a summer research opportunity for beginners, but I have not yet been in a lab and don't know if I'm going to drive myself insane with cabin fever. Plus, seeing all of you here, with much more experience than me and STILL being unable to find a job is really causing me to panic. If people with an actual degree are having trouble, there's no way I'll have a chance.

I think there might be a few underlying issues here, but even having one question answered would help me greatly. Thanks.
