Is BMRIT (B.Sc. Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology) worth pursuing in India in 2026? Need honest advice from students and professionals.

Hi everyone,

I'm a PCB student ( my_qualifications = 12th PCB 84% ) who is trying to choose between different allied health courses, and BMRIT is one of the options I'm seriously considering.

I'm not looking for promotional answers from colleges. I genuinely want to understand the ground reality from people who are studying BMRIT or are already working in the field.

I'd really appreciate your thoughts on a few questions:

- Which year are you in, or how long have you been working?

- If you could go back to Class 12, would you still choose BMRIT? Why or why not?

- What are the biggest advantages and disadvantages of this career?

- How is the work-life balance?

- What are realistic starting salaries, and how does salary grow after 5–10 years?

- Are government jobs available? How difficult are they to get?

- Is there good career growth in private hospitals?

- Does the college make a big difference?

- Are higher studies or certifications important for better opportunities?

- If your younger sibling wanted to pursue BMRIT today, would you recommend it? Why or why not?

I'm trying to make an informed career decision, so I'd really appreciate honest experiences—both positive and negative.

Thank you so much for your time!

Is BPT in India really worth it in 2026? Need honest advice from graduates and working physiotherapists.

Hi everyone,

I'm a Class 12 student from India, and I'm planning to pursue BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy). However, I'm feeling very confused because I'm getting completely different opinions from different people.

For example:

- One physiotherapist with around 2 years of experience told me they're earning ₹55,000 per month.

- Another person told me they're earning only ₹15,000 per month.

This huge difference has left me really confused, and I don't want to make such an important career decision based on just a few people's experiences.

If you're a BPT graduate, currently studying BPT, or working as a physiotherapist, I'd really appreciate your honest answers to a few questions:

  1. Which year did you graduate?

  2. Which state/city do you work in?

  3. What was your first salary?

  4. What is your current salary (if you're comfortable sharing)?

  5. How many hours do you work per day?

  6. Is it possible to earn ₹40k–60k within the first 2–3 years? If yes, under what circumstances?

  7. If you could go back in time, would you choose BPT again? Why or why not?

  8. What advice would you give to someone considering BPT in 2026?

I'm not looking for sugar-coated answers. I genuinely want to understand the ground reality—the good, the bad, the challenges, and the opportunities.

Thank you so much to anyone who takes the time to reply. Your experience could genuinely help me make one of the biggest decisions of my life.
