Resit Problem
Back in the December exam diet, I made a huge mistake by filing an EC for almost all my courses because I was not doing well. It was a dumb decision, but I genuinely had no idea that once an EC is accepted, you are forced to resit either way.
Since then, I’ve been on a journey trying to avoid most of my resits, and it’s not going well. I was able to avoid some, but I still have one Economics course that is just 10 credits.
I’m in my second year progressing into third year, and I’m not continuing into Economics Honours. No one is giving me a clear answer on the consequences if I don’t sit the resit.
I am genuinely unable to sit and resit this course this summer. I’m really afraid I won’t be able to progress into third year. My parents think I passed all my courses; if I had really failed, I would have told them. But the reality is that I filed an EC, and I regret it a lot, and now I have to resit.
I genuinely believe I passed not with a great mark, but I did enough to pass. I honestly don’t know what to do now.
