I'm building an OS simulation game and I need feedback

I’m building a browser-based “fake OS” game/simulation where the user interacts with a desktop environment (files, apps, terminal, etc.).

The twist is that the system slowly develops subtle anomalies over time, and there is a hidden progression system leading toward an end goal.

Like a deeper, more complex, and eerie version of windows 93 mixed with WTTG/Scrutinized.

I don’t want it to just be a sandbox or joke OS, I want there to be a meaningful end state or objective that is discovered gradually through browsing and interaction.

I’m currently unsure what the final goal/objective should be, so I’d love ideas for:

  • What a satisfying “win condition” could look like
  • Whether the goal should be narrative, mechanical, or meta (about the system itself)
  • How to make the progression feel subtle but rewarding

The tone I’m aiming for is mysterious and atmospheric, but ultimately engaging, not horror for horror’s sake.

Any ideas for the final objective would be massively appreciated.

For anybody that ever doubts their salvation

I built a free website to help Christians examine their assurance of salvation according to Scripture.

It doesn't try to tell you "you are/aren't saved." Instead, it asks about your testimony and understanding of the gospel, then uses AI to put everything into a biblical assessment, always pointing you back to the Bible.

Some features:

  • Biblical guidance based on your answers
  • A chat where you can ask follow-up questions
  • Identification of common assurance traps (legalism, perfectionism, excessive introspection, etc.)
  • Biblical evidences that support or challenge your assurance
  • Relevant Bible passages with explanations for further study

The goal is to give you all a confident, biblical assurance of salvation, leaving no room for false self-condemnation :)

Peace be with you.
