Texas has four of my Top 14 non-QB transfers for 2026

Putting together my Top 30 non-QB transfers really highlighted how aggressively Texas has added proven talent.

Four Longhorns ended up inside my Top 14:

  1. Cam Coleman

  2. Rasheem Biles

  3. Melvin Siani

  4. Hollywood Smothers

Coleman is obviously the headline name, but Biles might be the addition I'm most intrigued by.

He finished last season with 101 tackles, 17 TFL, 4.5 sacks, six PBUs, two forced fumbles and two pick-sixes. That's a genuine playmaker being added to the middle of the defense.

Smothers is another fascinating one because of what his explosiveness could add to the backfield.

I write about college football for The Touchdown in the UK and ranked the Top 30 based on projected 2026 impact rather than simply who was the biggest name in the portal.

Beyond Coleman, which Texas transfer do you think makes the biggest impact this season?
