I just found out what kind of design they want to select for the contest
there is a website called snow miku blog, and every time the contest starts, they will post a blog about it, and since 2022, it will provide some hints of what they actually want .For instance in 2024, they gave some food example like soup curry and seafood, and two of the finalist‘s designs happened to be inspired by those food.Also in 2025, they explained what the title glittering snow material is, if we look at it based on this explanation, then no.5 is actually the best at interprets the theme, and that may be the biggest reason why it was selected.Same goes for 2026 and 2027, though I won't go into details here. I’m not saying you should always follow what they say but it will be much easier to come up with ideas.And for those who want to win,the meaning of the theme will become clearer so the chance of the design being selected would probably increase.
After all, i’m just sharing an interesting phenomenon that I found, it’s not 100% true, so don’t take it too seriously:)
