While native deduplication certainly has its place, the core value of this plugin is in significantly streamlining the text search process within Zotero. Without this tool, searching for an item's metadata requires multiple steps: selecting the text, clicking 'My Library', going to the quick search box, pasting the text, and pressing Enter. This plugin collapses all of those actions into a single step, making it much easier and faster to just select text and instantly look it up
