I'm a lousy liar.
Today is a momentous anniversary in my Rush fandom. I somehow got front row at what was then called the Sleep Country Amphitheater in Ridgefield, Washington (Portland, Oregon metro area). I didn't have to pay extra. I didn't have to purchase any kind of package or pay anything more than what folks on the front seating area all paid. I just was in right when the tix went on sale and that was obviously as the Ticketbastard computer was releasing the 2 I was able to secure (my then girlfriend, now wife went with). I went through Music Today to get a presale I think. It didn't hurt that it happened at 10 AM on a weekday and I was working afternoons and evenings at the time so I was ready to jump in right at 10:00.
Here's a few pix from that show. As was mentioned elsewhere on this sub, phone cameras have REALLY improved since then.
