Hey everyone, I really need some advice because I’m genuinely stuck right now. 😭 So, I really want to register as a private candidate for my upcoming exams, but my parents are completely against it. I live in a huge joint family, and their main logic is that if I’m home all day, I’m just going to get dragged into doing constant household chores instead of actually studying. Which... honestly, they might be right, because boundaries do not exist here. 💀 But the bigger issue is the exam centres themselves. Everyone keeps telling me that most of the private options are literally miles away, and that the management at these places is completely chaotic and unorganized. Are the centres really that far and trashy? Or are people just exaggerating? 😭 Has anyone else dealt with strict/joint family drama while trying to study privately? How did you convince your parents? Also, if anyone has actually given exams at a private centre recently, please let me know what the vibe is like and if it's actually as bad as people say!
