Looking to find some good catfish spots, any recommendations? preferably rivers within the twin cities.

I’m headed to the Saint Croix River in Taylor Falls MN to try to hit some catfish (preferably channel), does anyone know what they’re like this time of year? Are they deep, shallow? The average weather has been about 53 degrees if that helps. Thanks
