Me right now, because I just finished Hollander’s Woods. Soooo….. BACK TO THE BEGINNING WE GO 😝😝😛

I’m pretty sure I go on a rampage about this episode every time I watch it, but who can blame me?

I don’t think this episode gets nearly enough love. I get nervous about this episode every time, and I’m so happy every time at the end of it.

Watching Castle when Beckett is taken is absolutely heartbreaking. Nathan Fillion sells the desperation so well. you can feel that he’s beyond panic and not thinking like a mystery writer anymore, but as a husband who will tear the world apart to find his wife.

And can we talk about Ryan and Espo? This is Team Castle at its absolute best. There isn’t a second of hesitation. They go all in to find their Beckett. The loyalty, determination, and brotherhood between them is incredible. Ryan and Espo are complete badasses here, doing whatever it takes because Beckett isn’t just their partner, she’s their family.

Then there’s Beckett herself.

That final confrontation with Kelly Nieman is one of the most dramatic scenes in the entire series. Stana Katic absolutely owns every second of it. Beckett refuses to break, refuses to let Nieman win, and when she finally turns the tables… what an incredible payoff. It’s one of those moments where you’re practically cheering at the screen.
And the welcome home she gets from the precinct is fantastic. After everything she’s been through, seeing everyone rally around her is just amazing. Even Gates, in her own way, gives Castle a compliment on “one of the most reckless things he has ever done”, and tells him thank you. And to top it all off, Castle has to do 1,000 hours of community service to pay off his charges….1,000 hours consulting for Beckett ;)

This conclusion to the 2 part story ending of 3XK is suspenseful, emotional, and completely badass from beginning to end. For me, it’s easily one of the best set of episodes, and I’ll never get tired of watching it.

Anyone else think this episode deserves to be talked about a lot more?

okay so I just finished the s6 finale and s7ep1 and I can’t help but think about Beckett’s hair switch up 😱 my girl is gorgeous ALWAYS but I have to say, I’m a fan of the trim this season 😍

What’s your favorite Beckett hairstyle and why?! I love her s3 and s7 hair the most, but really the long hair era entirely :)
