Turned the dog kennels into a kitchen

Stopped breeding dogs couple years ago and remaining dogs don't use the kennel like we used to so decided to turn it into to our kitchen and seating area. Total cost for everything was about 20 grand including redoing the garden and the pergola. Appliances and cabinetry was about 6k, granite was 7500 installed, pergola was 2700, framing and durock and stone and hardware about 2k, garden redo about 600 plus odds n ends.

Cannabis cultivation w/ dispensary

looking for a loan or equity investors for our cannabis opportunity in MN. we have a license to grow and also sell our own products out of our own dispensary. we are looking for 2 million dollars total to do the buildout of the facility. if we do an equity deal we are looking to give up 10% per 1 million invested. this is a new market for cannabis and we will be bringing our experience growing in IL for the last 3 yrs to MN. very conservative estimates show 7-10 million in revenue for just the cultivation portion.

thank you for your interest

Do investors not consider cannabis as intriguing as 5 yrs ago?

5 yrs ago we applied for a craft license in IL , scored perfect on the application and had multiple investors fighting each other to fund us. IL being IL multiple lawsuits were filed due to the state giving bonus points for veteran ownership they didn't disclose. Long story short, we're still sitting on this license waiting for the state to make a ruling which may or may not happen this year.

Fast forward to last year and Minnesota going legal, We applied for 2 craft licenses and received pre approval on both. All of the investors from Illinois 5 years ago have no interest in it now even though its a brand new market and the costs for property and buildout are significantly lower.

Just curious what actual investors think of cannabis cultivation in 2026. I joined this subreddit today and scrolled through hundreds of posts and not one about cannabis.

Any feedback is much appreciated.
